Spring Lookbook with Nubiana
Today my lovely new friend Nubiana of From Nubiana, With Love is going to be sharing some great spring looks! Hello lovelies! My name is Nubiana, creator of From Nubiana, With Love, a fashion, beauty, and lifestyle blog. Despite the erratic weather, I’ve been in full spring mode lately. I’ve been seeing a lot of florals, denim, and off the shoulder looks lately, so I thought I’d put together a little spring lookbook with some forecasted trends for you all.
Florals never go out of style, but they’ve definitely resurfaced for the spring. I came across a floral maxi dress with slits at Target, and decided to pair it with a pair of UGG mules. It’s the perfect way to look polished with two simple items. Find a pair of mules that go with everything, and a floral dress with neutral tones like navy and pink.
That 70s Denim
I am personally a huge fan of fashion from each decade of the 1900’s and seeing how it evolved over time. Looks inspired by the 1970’s have been really popular around music festival season, and can be translated into spring style. An a-line denim skirt is one of my closet staples, and this one from River Island is such a beautiful wash. I paired it with an off the shoulder top that also has a little bit of the same blue in it, a lace-up choker from ASOS, and little block heel sandals from Target.
Another cute take on this outfit would be pairing the sandals and top with high waist bell bottoms in a similar wash of denim!
Off the Shoulder
Non-traditional shoulders are everywhere, whether it’s off the shoulder, ruffled shoulders, or cut out shoulders. If you couldn’t already tell, off the shoulder tops are my jam! If you get one in a neutral color, you can pair it with essentially anything.
I wore this outfit during spring break, and it was perfect for walking around town. I decided to wear my off the shoulder top with extremely destroyed jeans and a pair of mules. The great thing about off the shoulder tops is that they draw all of the attention for you, so you don’t have to worry too much about the rest of the outfit.
Those three trends are currently my favorite spring trends, and I’m definitely ready to try some more! What trends are you looking forward to trying this season?
