I recently caught up with my Insta-pal Celeste to chat about her beyond gorgeous apartment and I can't wait to share the beautiful photos with you all!
Residents: Celeste and her daughter
Location: Chicago, IL
Rent or Own: Rent
Square footage: 1000 square feet
Time lived there: 2 years
How would you describe your overall design aesthetic?
I would say that is a mix of several styles where I always emphasize the use of white as the main color mixed with another light hue.
What is your favorite piece of decor in your home?
Definitely my mirror from Anthropologie!
What's your number one tip for creating a beautiful home?
I recommend that, whichever your decor style, don’t forget to incorporate plants, even if they are faux, to add life to your home. That, and add large mirrors to give the illusion of a bigger space. These two will improve the look of your home instantly, trust me!
What do you love about your home?
I love that is an small & cozy space. Perfect for just my princess and I, and therefore there is not much to clean, ha!
Where do you usually shop for decor and home pieces?
For decoration I always run to Urban Outfitters first, I’m obsessed with everything that they have. For furniture I like Ikea (because they have pretty cool stuff for people that are on a budget, like me) and Target of course! I also love Anthropologie, West Elm, H&M Home and Homegoods.
Thanks so much to Celeste for sharing her gorgeous home! Be sure to follow along with her on Instagram to see even more photos of her dreamy space.
